We would like to share an update of our youngest team, Quarrydale United U7’s.

The first photo is at our home tournament last June, which was also the teams first time playing together as a team.

The second photo was last Sunday.

Team manager, Ash, is delighted with the amount of progression these lads have made over the summer, it’s unbelievable.

The team entered the YEL festival and won 4 out of 6 of their games.

At training the boys are a pleasure. They are working really hard on gameplay, space awareness, positioning, teamwork, ball control, accuracy and power and having fun whilst developing these skills.

They have opened up their first season strong. Enjoying the happiness of wins whilst being humble in defeat.

As teams were being matched up by results and performances the U7’s picked up two tough games. The boys showed determination in the games and they thrived with the challenge. Ash says as they came off the pitch he witnessed their love of playing football grow plus creating an unbreakable team bond already.

The team has a family spirit and the manager says the parents are amazing, everyone chips in and does their part on game days, helping training set ups/downs.

Ash, Chris (the coach) and parents could not be prouder of these lads and how they have taken to league football.

The team would like a big shout out to the Club Chairman, and legend, Phil for helping to get this team up and running in such a short space of time.

Another shout out to our U8 Rangers for the training games.
